These are all the socks I've knitted so far in the knit.sock.love kal. I have one more to go which are knee-high.
The kal started 01/01/11. The last pair of socks are to be finished by 10/01/12. I've done all of the pattern; I've won three skeins of yarn. I don't know what I'll do with myself after this.

In other news, I've almost finished the Blues, but now it time to wear fall/winter clothes. I soo need to figure a better way to dress myself. I never have enough clothing.

The Blues

So I'm attempting to sew my stash. I have a lot of fabric. I mean a lot of fabric. I've been buying fabric since forever. I'm not sewing as much as I'm buying. I've bought fabric because I thought I couldn't live without it, but I wouldn't sew it up because I needed to lose weight first. I've finally gotten over that notion. So for the summer months, I'm suppose to sew what's under the cutting table. I have two bins and a few smaller boxes. The goal is to sew up the fabric in the bins and boxes before September is over. The picture above is not from under the table, but fabric that I've had for a few years. Every year I have plans to sew it up. This year it's getting sewn. I have ten yards of each fabric. I don't remember the fabric content is: probable rayon, cotton; maybe linen.
So the plan is two pairs of pants (one in each fabric), two skirts, and two tops. One pair of pants are completley done and everything else except the tops are waiting for hemming.

UNDER THE TABLE
(What a mess!)

I finish the Hedera.

Hedera

I started a pair of White Hedera that I hope I will finish by the end of the month. The Kal I'm in has started knitting Cookie A monkeys. Hope to finish at least two pairs by the end of Feb.

I joined a kal over at Ravelry. I'm knitting a pair of socks from the book knit.sock.love by Cookie A. They are giving me the blues so far. I thinks it's because:
1. I have to read instruction, 2. I'm learning to read a knitting chart. It took me two days just to get the cuffs of the socks done.

Still in love with my singer machine. I found out that it's a full sized machine but uses the same bobbin case as a singer featherweight. That's why the bobbin that I purchase cost way to much. I wished that I had check to see if there was a bobbin case with the machine yesterday. Oh well!

FIrst post and Look at what I got!

I saw this machine at the goodwill about 2 weeks ago. They wanted $100.00 for it. I just couldn't spend that amount of money even though this machine came with a case. I did walkout of the store without the machine. All the way home I told myself that I should have gotten that machine. I almost when back. But I didn't. I told myself that if the machine was still there in 2 weeks I would ask for a price reduction. Well guess what? the machine was still there and they had marked it down to $75.00. Now if it had been $75.00 originally I would just bought it; But nooo! I had to see if they would it mark down some more. To make a long story short I got this baby for $65.00. It needs a bobbin case and bobbins (unfortunately I not did check to make sure it had a bobbin case. But it runs and it's a Singer). Now mine you I don't need another machine. But it was small and it was solid metal. Well I'm going to look on the internet to see if I can get parts for it.
